Boardman River Rambler

For the first time in more than 30 years the sound of a Steam Whistle will flow like the Boardman River, where the mighty trout lives and thrives. Ride behind the beauty and strength of the steam-powered locomotive, Lehigh Valley Coal Company 126, as it makes an appearance in Kalkaska for the annual National Trout Festival. The Boardman River Rambler will make its way through Northern Michigan on these one-hour excursions on April 26th & 27th.  Passengers will depart from the railroad depot at the Kalkaska Museum in one of our vintage coaches or historic cabooses.
